Working Principle / Usage

To operate the hc sr04 ultrasonic sensor module, send a HIGH pulse of more than 10μs to the TRIG pin. The module will then transmit an ultrasonic signal and wait for the reflected echo at the ECHO pin.

When a HIGH signal is received on the ECHO pin, start a timer. When the signal returns to LOW, stop the timer and read the elapsed time. This duration represents the ultrasonic wave travel time.
